Scuba Diving Activities:
Everyone on board has the opportunity of participating in a scuba dive. For those onboard the 3Day/2Night trip, your first scuba dive is free. This is one of the best experiences you’ll have in your life – scuba diving on the Great Barrier Reef, amongst this multitude of unique animals cannot be compared.
We have been actively involved in taking guests scuba diving on Apollo since the commencement of the business in 2006. With a perfect safety record, tried and proven procedures. Our safety and satisfaction record is second to none.
We guarantee you’ll come out with a smile on your face. All dives are fully supervised. Bring your underwater camera – you won’t be disappointed!
We focus on making sure you are comfortable, safe, and most of all HAVING FUN!
Our highly experienced dive instructors take a maximum of four divers on your introductory dive, which is customised to suit the divers and conditions on the day. Extra intro dives are to a maximum of 12m for up to 50 minutes.
Certified divers are led by our fully qualified and very experienced dive instructors.
Certified divers must produce their dive certificate/dive card and logbook. Extra certified dives are to a maximum of 18m for up to 50 minutes. All dive gear is supplied on board the vessel. Night dives are also available for those wishing to experience the wonders of the underwater world at night.

Snorkeling in the Whitsundays is a magnificent experience. The equipment used by snorkelers aboard Apollo is world class. Masks, snorkels and fins are the latest in silicone and comfortable designs. Full length suits offer comfortable buoyancy, heat protection, stinger and sun protection all year round.
Snorkelers are dropped directly onto spectacular sites.
Come and see Boris the Maori Wrasse at Blue Pearl Bay.
We visit a variety of sites around the Whitsunday Islands – no two trips are identical. All dive sites are world class dive sites and part of the Great Barrier Reef marine park.
Sites are chosen to maximise your enjoyment on the day and can include: Blue Pearl Bay, Luncheon Bay, Maureen’s Cove, Mackeral Bay, Butterfly Bay and Bali Hi Island.
Night dives for certified divers are available onboard the 3Day/2Night trip and are a “must do” experience. Participants must have completed a daylight dive before participating in a night dive. Divers are equipped with first and secondary lights to discover the spectacular proliferation of night life. Night diving is an amazing experience that you will never forget.
